Zoe-perry
Perry was born on July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first roles on television were two appearances as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) on her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne as the character played by her mom. The parents of her were not keen to let her take on acting roles until she was an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry was shy in high-school and was not a performer. Her first acting experience was at Northwestern University to gain friends after she was moved to the university from Boston University. Perry was able to land minor TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent when she finished her degree. However, her homesickness caused her to move back to California and she returned working in the stage. The Other Place was performed by her and her mother in 2013 on Broadway in 2013 The show featured their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's crime thriller The Family. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC political drama Scandal which starred her father. In addition, she played her younger Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The role was given to her through audition, despite the fact that she was a cousin to the character.
