Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was raised by an artist family from New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. She began working as a photography assistant and after that she moved on to acting and modeling. Her first two movies, she was recognized and won the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, she was voted the Top female box-office start worldwide. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw has been married three occasions.
