Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese roots, while Winston Barrett Munn's clan has roots deep in the American South. While the family left Oklahoma and stayed in various areas, she was raised at Tokyo, Japan. In the years that followed she was a part of several local theatre productions. Later, she became a model for the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia moved into Los Angeles when her family finally returned to the United States to follow her aspirations of becoming an actress. Olivia's career began to take off after a couple of tiny roles. She landed the part of Mily in Hawaii-lensed television series Beyond the Break (2005) and the receptionist role for Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She is the host of "The Daily Nut" as well as"Formula D," the "Formula D" Podcasts on G4. She is a fan of surfing, something she has been practicing since the television series Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she has earned an black belt in Taekwondo.
