Hayley Orrantia is an American actress, singer and music producer. One of her most well-known roles is Erica Goldberg who stars in 'The Goldbergs,' an American comedy show. She is, however, an avid music fan. Music is her first love that she insists on; it's something that she started dabbling at when she was nine years old. When she reached the age of 12 her music began to take an adolescent turn and she began professional training. When she was 13, she started writing songs. Her debut album at 14 years old. Since then there has been never a moment to rest. Orrantia is a native of America with Hispanic roots. She is proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots even though she was raised in English only, and did not live in Mexico. To keep her heritage alive, she is learning Spanish. She also creates songs that incorporate the language. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," a song was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of the X Factor after she submitted a YouTube audition video. The judge gave her an impressive four "yes" votes of the judge in the live stage in Seattle. She was originally performing as a solo artist, however in the course of "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were placed in an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week of live show.
